What is Project cargo?
Project cargo is the transportation of large, complex, or high-value pieces of equipment, (including break-bulk shipments) that can move by land, sea, or air. This process involves single or multiple shipments with the help of cranes, trucks, rail, planes, and ships. Furthermore, project cargo tends to have a specific time-frame or specified delivery date that makes these shipments some of the most complex and detailed projects in the entire logistics industry.
Who can file a freight claim?
Either the shipper, consignee, billing party or a third party logistics company may file a freight claim against a shipment, however only one claim per shipment maybe honored by the carrier.
What if I discovered damages after delivery?
t is the consignee’s responsibility to report damages to the carrier. Please contact Omniarch Maritime and speak with A Customer Service Representative. Damages must be reported within 24 hours from the time of delivery.
